Nightmare

A humanoid creature sporting a cute, purple horn, but don't be deceived by its appearance as it can hit hard even to those in transcendent and mythic armor.

Move Set

Arcing Ascension

Particles launch in an arc in random locations all around the boss, creating circular indicators where they land. On contact, the player is launched into the sky and blinded.

Obsidian Outburst

Circle indicators appear around and after a short time, blindness is inflicted and obsidian spikes from the indicators

Defensive Dream

Indicated by a circular ring pillar which channels for a bit then the boss hovers up and lands in the center. The boss is then covered by obsidian and a spherical shield while 4 Soul Fragments with 300 health spawn on the 4 obsidian platforms that heal Nightmare.

Tip: Deal damage up to the point Nightmare floats out of range, then head to the obsidian platforms to destroy the healing runes.

Void Vortex

Floats towards the sky, then teleports to the center. 4 black swirls rotate clockwise around the boss from the center dealing damage on contact.

Tip: As soon as you see Nightmare float without indicators, head to the center to deal damage

Pale Rider

The boss mounts a horse and floats up, raining down particles around the arena

Tip: Pull out your trusty bow
