Forged

Ancient ruins and fallen ancient technology are scattered across the wasteland. Teldarians have only recently discovered this locale, and have such established a base camp atop the northwest mountain. Those who journey into the ruins below, beware!

Death Mechanics

In Forged if you die you will lose your entire inventory and any scrap, but keep your hotbar items and armor. PVP is enabled, as others may be hunting people for scrap and not just crates.

Navigation

Because homes cannot be set in Forged and elytras are disabled, the primary modes of transportation are walking, ender pearls, and rockets! Walk up to any of the three rockets and jump on, but beware, the rockets are volitile and prone to flying off without a passenger. Pearls come highly recommended while using a rocket and general navigation around Forged.

Scrap

Scrap is exclusive to the forged dimension. It can be obtained in two ways: slaying mobs, and opening loot crates. Loot crates are randomly dropped in various locations around the map. Upon opening them, high amounts of scrap will be rewarded. Keep in mind, other players may also be looking to scavenge scrap for themselves. You may find yourself competing with others to open crates! Scrap cannot leave the dimension though or it is immediately lost, so return to base camp to exchange your hard-earned scrap for valuable rewards.

Mobs

Notable mobs and their abilities:

• Scrap Crawler - When killed turns into a knockback spike
• Annihilator Golem - When reduced below 20% damage (<2 bars on boss bar), the golem enters a supercritical state. If not killed fast enough (consider using a dagger!) while outlined and expanding, will explode dealing a massive amount of damage. Additionally, this can trigger nearby Supercritical Golems to explode or enter a supercritical state as well, causing a chain reaction. The other notable move is an aoe fire spread which triggers Supercritical Golems to enter their supercritical state.
• Supercritical Golems - Can enter a supercritical state by other explosions or Annihilator Golems fire spread. Will explode and trigger a chain reaction to other Supercritical Golems.
• Rusted Automaton - Will call upon air support to summon a targeted and devastating rocket strike when it raises its claw into the air and begins glowing red; avoid the red pillar of particles at all costs to stay safe. The other notable ability Automotons have is the grab attack. While you can escape by pressing shift before being thrown, it will force slowness effects on you and can be devastating if clumped up against a horde of mobs. If you are having difficulty fighting these up close, consider utilizing a bow to diffuse them as threats.
