Claiming

Claiming is how you make land yours. Inside your claim, nobody else can break or place blocks, open your chests, use your doors or buttons, or hurt your animals — it is full protection, enforced by the server, at zero cost in money. Claims run on claim blocks, which you earn simply by playing.

Your First Claim

Place your first chest and the server automatically claims a small area around it for you (a 9×9 footprint). That starter claim is just to keep you safe on day one — build anything real and you'll want a proper claim.

Two tools drive everything, and both are ordinary items:

Tool What it does
Golden Shovel Creates and resizes claims — get one free with /kit claim
Stick Inspects — right-click any block to see whose claim it is in

Creating a Claim

The fastest way: stand in the middle of your base and run /claim <radius> — this claims a square that many blocks around you.

The precise way: equip a Golden Shovel and right-click one corner of the area you want, then right-click the opposite corner. Gold blocks and glowstone appear to mark the boundary. To resize, right-click a corner with the shovel and then right-click where the corner should move to.

Rules a claim must satisfy:

Claim Blocks

Every block of a claim's footprint costs 1 claim block (height is free).

Starting balance 100 claim blocks
Earned by playing 100 per hour online
Maximum earned from playtime 10,000
Buying more /buyclaimblocks <amount> at $100 per block
Abandoning a claim Refunds 100% of its blocks

Check your balance and every claim you own with /claimlist.

Letting Friends In

Trust is per-claim and comes in four levels — stand in the claim and grant exactly as much as you mean to:

Command Grants
/accesstrust <player> Buttons, levers, doors, beds — walking-around rights
/containertrust <player> All of the above plus chests, furnaces, barrels and animals
/trust <player> Full build rights — place and break blocks
/permissiontrust <player> Lets that player grant trust to others

Manage it with /untrust <player> (or /untrust all), and audit with /trustlist. Granting trust to public opens that permission to everyone — useful for shop claims.

Two details worth knowing: throwing an ender pearl into someone's claim needs access trust, and /sethome inside a claim needs access trust too.

Losing a Claim

Living Near Others

Claims cannot overlap. If griefing happens outside claims, staff can roll it back — but the intended play is simple: claim it before you build it. In the Wild, you can also stop hostile mobs from spawning on your claimed land, and Cities offer a bigger, shared version of land protection with its own upgrades.

Commands
